One of the things that makes Camp Hollywood so memorable is our themes for each of the evening dances.
From decorations, to music choices, to costumes, to photo opportunities – you will be immersed in the flavor of each theme.
Note that dressing up in theme is not required. Some folks go all out, others just have a few accessories, and others just dress up as they would for any dance night. Do what makes you feel comfortable – and what can fit in your luggage!

Friday, August 29th – Tonight we kick off our themes with Villains night – whether you’re going classic Disney or super hero nemesis, this night is for you! Join us in the ballroom for Keenan McKenzie and The Riffers, starting at 9 PM. Meet your instructors, fellow campers, and potential dance partners! Enjoy our exciting NJC Open Team division! Band plays 9 PM – midnight, after hours DJ dancing until? – $45 night ticket.
Saturday, August 30th – Tonight we pay tribute to the sweeping love story of Moulin Rouge – wear Parisian can can finery or just wear Red! Dance to the fabulous The Jonathan Stout Orchestra featuring Hilary Alexander! Thrill to the fast feet of the NJC Open Balboa and Shag finals! Band plays 9 PM – midnight, after hours live music TBD from 1-3 AM – $55 night ticket.
Sunday, August 31st – Tonight we’re having a party – a garden party, that is! Wear your favorite florals or springtime colors to dance to an expanded version of The Jonathan Stout Orchestra featuring Hilary Alexander! Enjoy the eye-popping NJC Amateur and Open Lindy finals. Band plays 9 PM – midnight, after hours live music from 1-3 AM with Jonathan Stout’s The Grand Slam Sextet – $55 night ticket.
Monday, September 1st – Tonight we only want to see you laughing, and singing, in our Singin’ in the Purple Rain theme night! Wear purple or rain gear (why not both?) to dance to Michael Gamble and the Rhythm Serenaders featuring Laura Windley! Join in on the fun with our first ever NJC Triple Threat Contest, get in those final dances, visit your vendors for some last chance dance shoes and souvenirs, and pick up the last of the Camp Hollywood merchandise! Band plays 9:30 PM – midnight, after hours dancing until? – $45 night ticket.
